-Will I flip over?

O yea! part of learning to kayak is getting comfortable flipping and swimming.

-What time of year is best to learn?

All year. our full and half day lessons are great during the hot summer months (June-Sept), While our roll sessions are good year-round thanks to indoor pool opportunities in the fall, winter and spring (oct.-May).

-What rivers will I paddle?

Most of our lessons utilize the Clark fork and Blackfoot rivers.

-Do I need my own gear?

No, you don’t need your own gear. Part of the instruction cost is dedicated to adequate gear

-How safe is kayaking?

just like any sport, kayaking can be taken as extreme or as mellow as you want. We can help you reach your goals, From running waterfalls to confidently paddling class III fun. We got you!
